If your goal is to eliminate body fat and provide maximum muscle definition and visibility then routines which are designed for these results should be used instead.

There are workouts that are designed to target every possible muscle, and that can meet any cardio or intensity needs that you have. Some of these regimens are performed 4-5 times a week, others may follow a split routine to allow your muscles to recover completely. Some of the routines that you will find involve a lot of equipment. It is possible to find many routines that only require dumbbells or other types of weights, so any equipment needs are minimized without impacting the results that you get.

The right bodybuilding workout routines will depend on your personal preferences. IF you choose a workout regimen that is too structured or that involves exercises that you consider boring then you are less likely to follow the program and get the results that you want. A well rounded routine that is challenging but not boring is usually the best choice in most cases. This will keep you working out while ensuring that you develop all of your muscle groups.

It is important to remember that there are other factors at play besides the workout routine that you use. You need to get plenty of rest and make sure that the diet you consume is sufficient for your calorie needs and desired results. Building muscle requires protein, and many routines that are designed for bodybuilders mean large amounts of protein each day.

The workout routines that you use should be ones that work out your targeted muscles. Make sure to change things up periodically so that your muscles do not become complacent and you start to plateau. Changing routines every so often will create muscle confusion, and ensure that you get the maximum results in the shortest time possible.
